dc.description.abstract | In our daily world where relationships between humans and machines become more complex, machines interfere deeply into human social relationships and change our sociality directly. Some recent research have drawn attention to that the individuality of a social machine interacted with humans non-verbally makes the machines finer. There is a social machine that leads to an aesthetic experience by playing with humans, and especially it is called to be a sociable machine. The being of a sociable machine arises a post-humanistic problem that the subject of aesthetic experience can be not a human being but a machine. We can find some clues to its explanation from cybernetics. Gordon Pask's aesthetic theory provides us conceptual frameworks that explain aesthetic experiences and problems of non-art in a relationship between human and machine. Eventually this article presents a theoretically useful pathway through which we can arrive at more clear territories for understanding relationships of human-machine and art-technology. | - |
