- Abstract
- The study is concerned with clarifying the formation background of Jeman Jung's Sanjo Dance and the dance characteristics on the basis of the art world. the conclusion of the study is as follows.
First, it was found that the dance composition of 'Twilight', the work of the late Beom Eui Song who was the master, was similar to the introduction and closing of Jeman Jung's Sanjo Dance and affected the formation background of the dance. Second, it was found from the type of providing the emotional change and elevation through the 2nd separation appearing in the latter part that the characteristics of the dance of the late Yeong Suk Han was contained. Third, it was found that the fan using technique shown in Jeman Jung's Hallyangmu affected the formation background. Fourth, the dance composition consists of introduction, expansion, development, peak, and closing. Fifth, the feminine dance is added to Geomungo with the masculine tone so that the charm of the androgynous dance is shown. Sixth, the dance was choreographed on the basis of the image of the nature union thought pursuing harmony with nature. Seventh, the beauty of temperance as the characteristics of the late Yeong Suk Han's dance movement is shown.
