- Abstract
- Elastomeric smart windows with switchable optical transparency and wetting properties are fabricated through the combination of replica molding and surface wrinkling. The resulting smart windows, with a surface topography that is tunable via mechanical strain, exhibit not only significant changes in optical transmittance and wetting properties, but also the additional functions of self-cleaning and antireflection.
