- Abstract
- Ubiquitous technology plays a core role to change physical space where previous simple forms of devices are connected to intelligent decentralization environment that is more intelligent and adaptive computing environment. In order to realize such intelligent environment meeting the needs of users, it is required to have a function to support various devices, migratory users and rapidly changing contexts for each system and service. The study clarifies intelligent service integrated operation that allows context transfer among various environments based on user-centric adaptation middleware and defines various situations and rules to make the user centric service adapted to the changing environment based on the fuzzy logic. In addition, it suggests a User Centric Adaptation Middleware (UCAM) model for user-customized service implementation and service-reasoning adaptive algorithm that can be used for it. © 2007 IEEE.
