Abstract
본 연구는 기업의 촉진 수단으로서 스포츠 이벤트가 지니는 기업적 가치들을 고찰해보고, 스포츠 이벤트를 통한 기업 촉진 효과를 극대화시키기 위한 스포츠 조직의 이벤트 활용 방안을 제시하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 오늘날 스포츠 이벤트는 기업에 있어서 최적의 마케팅 커뮤니케이션 수단으로서 또한 기업의 통합마케팅을 위한 이상적인 도구로서 각광받고 있으며 이러한 스포츠 이벤트에 대한 기업적 참여는 더욱 증대될 것으로 전망되고 있다. 스포츠 이벤트의 성공적인 운영을 위해서는 스포츠 이벤트 판매자로서 스포츠 조직과 구매자로서 기업의 상호 호혜적인 관계 구축이 요구된다. 아울러 기업 촉진 수단으로서 스포츠 이벤트의 효과를 극대화하기 위해서 스포츠 조직은 지속적인 이벤트 가치부여와 강화는 물론, 매체 노출을 극대화하고 참여 기업을 위한 독점권 및 다양한 광고 기회 제공 등을 위해 최선의 노력을 기울여야 할 것이다.
The purpose of this study is to examine business advantages of sport event as a promotion tool in a company, and to establish its effective application scheme for sport organization. Nowaday, sport event is highlighted as the best suited tool for the company's marketing communication and integrated marketing, more and more companies are expected to participate in sport event. It is important for both sport organizing body as an provider and company as an sport event comsumer to make a relationship for mutual benefits. Moreover, in order to manage sport event successfully, sport organization has to maintain the value of sport event continuously, to make lots of media coverage, to guarantee an exclusive rights on sport event and to provide various opportunity of advertisement.
