한글과 한자 획요소 간 매핑 조합 연구

Abstract

일반적인 PC에서는 한자 글꼴이 많지 않아서 한글과 한자가 같이 있을 때 어울리는 한자 글꼴을 선택하지 못하여 가독성이 떨어지는 경우가 발생한다. 이를 해결하기 위해 본 연구에서는 한글 글꼴 획요소에 관한 선행연구를 바탕으로 한글의 획요소와 속성값을 측정하고, 한자의 획요소를 정해 그 속성값을 측정하였다. 그리고 속성값을 수식화하여 한글 글꼴과 한자 글꼴 간 데이터 분석 방법에 기반한 매칭 조합을 제시하였다. 본 연구를 통해 선정된 한자 획요소는 추후 어울리는 한자-한글 글꼴의 추천에 활용될 것이며, 한글 글꼴이 한자 글꼴로 대체되어야 하거나, 한글과 한자가 함께 사용되는 콘텐츠가 있을 시, 가독성을 해치지 않도록 도와줄 것이다. 본 연구를 통해 한자를 사용하는 다른 언어의 글꼴 또한 확장이 가능하다.

Not many Chinese fonts on PC are commonly used, and it"s hard to select suitable fonts, which leads to poor readability. To solve this problem, in this study, the stroke elements of Korean and Korean Chinese characters were determined, attribute values were measured, then a combination was presented based on the data analysis method. This Combination help to recommend and replace suitable fonts, made it more readable, and further, expand to fonts in other languages that use Korean Chinese characters.
