국내 도덕성 교육 프로그램 효과에 대한 체계적 문헌고찰 및 메타분석

Abstract

이 연구는 국내 도덕성 교육 프로그램의 효과를 검증한 연구들에 대한 체계적 문헌고찰 및 메타분석을 수행하고 이를 통해 도덕성 교육의 중요성을 확인하기 위한 목적에 수행되었다. 이를 위해 2000년 1월부터 2021년 7월까지 출판된 실험연구 24편을 대상으로 MS Excel과 CMA 3.0을 사용하여 분석을 수행하였다. 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 무선효과모형을 적용한 결과 국내 도덕성 교육 프로그램의 총 효과크기는 1.310으로 통계적으로 유의하게 큰 수준이었다. 둘째, 종속변인에 대한 효과크기 분석 결과 도덕성 교육 프로그램은 사회성과 도덕적 행동의 증진에 가장 큰 효과가 있었다. 셋째, 조절변인의 유형 별로 분석한 결과 출판유형, 연구대상, 회기 수에 따른 효과크기는 유의했지만 중재방법의 효과크기는 통계적으로 유의하지 않았다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 향후 도덕성 교육 프로그램의 방향에 대하여 논의하였다.

The purpose of this study is to conduct a systemic review and meta-analysis of literature that have verified the effectiveness of Korea’s moral education programs. Through this, I wanted to confirm the importance of moral education. The analysis was conducted using MS Excel and CMA 3.0 in 24 experimental studies published from January 2000 to July 2021. The main findings were as follows. First, when the random-effects model was applied, the effect size of the moral education programs was 1.310, which was statistically significantly large. Second, analyzing the effect size for dependent variables, effects on sociality and moral behavior were greatest. Third, analyzing the effect size by category showed that each effect size of type of publication, subject, and number of session was significant, but arbitration method was not. Based on these results, I discussed the directions of future moral education programs.
