성인 남녀의 통제 행동이 데이트폭력 가해 행동에 미치는 영향: 공감과 젠더 감수성의 매개효과

Abstract

이 연구에서는 통제 행동과 데이트폭력 가해 행동의 관계에서 공감과 젠더 감수성의 매개효과를 검증하기 위한 목적에서 수행되었다. 이를 위해 20-30대 성인남녀 321명을 대상으로 자료를 수집하여 분석하였다. 이 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 통제 행동은 데이트폭력 가해 행동에 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 통제 행동과 데이트폭력 가해 행동의 관계에서 공감과 젠더 감수성은 모두 부(-)의 매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타나, 완화 또는 억제적 영향력이 있음이 확인되었다. 셋째, 공감과 젠더 감수성이 동시에 투입되는 이중 매개효과 또한 통계적으로 유의했고, 이때 공감의 영향력이 상대적으로 더 컸다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 데이트폭력을 완화할 수 있는 개입 및 중재 방안을 논의하였다. 그러나, 연구의 대상이 20-30대에만 국한되었다는 점과 환경적 영향력을 배제하였다는 점은 이 연구의 제한점으로 지적되었다.

The purpose of this study is to identify the mediating effect of empathy and gender sensitivity in the relationship between controlling behavior and dating violence. Subjects were 231 adult men and women in 20s-30s. Results and as follows. First, controlling behavior has a positive effect on dating violence. Second, both empathy and gender sensitivity has negative mediating effects in the relationship between controlling behavior and dating violence. Third, empathy and gender sensitivity has double-mediating effect, and especially effect of empathy was greater. Based on these results, interventions methods to alleviate dating violence were discussed. But subjects were only in 20s-30s, and excluding the influence of the environment were pointed out as limitations of this study.
