Abstract
People today have many different interests and also search for their special and unique style. Consumers demand for being more style conscious has led many new magazines to be launched, specifically focusing on more graphic and visual presentation. Graphic presentation has become a more influential part of magazine journalism, this trend has been apparent not only here locally, but also with many well known international magazine titles. The job of a stylist has recently been created and is an importantcomponent to a successful magazine launch. Stylists are now more and more recognized for their influence in maintaining a successful brand. Among the different stylists in high-end magazines, research focuses on food styling and food stylist to set the object of suggesting new design domain of styling and to build to higher level of food styling. Also, this thesis suggests the necessity and basis of food styling and food stylist with the study and analysis of their concept and role. "Styling" and "stylist"are still relatively new terms. However, it is critical for a successful modern magazines to have a multiple stylists, therefore the role of the stylist has increased to create a more significant impact to the reading audience. Food styling and food stylist is essential in food section of magazines to provide visual presentation and knowledge to the readers. The role of the stylist has expanded to various specialties, including the concept of food styling and the food stylist, this segment has grown significantly in the luxury and high-end magazine market. The focus of this thesis is outlining the importance of role of the stylist, especially in the high-end cultural magazines, which has more stylist participation and focus on the concept arrangement.
