헤테로토피아적 상상력과 현대사회의 해방과 사랑에 대한 성찰 - 《나의 해방일지》를 중심으로

Abstract

현대사회에서 개인은 스스로를 책임지고 자신의 결단을 통해 주체적인 삶을 도모해야 한 다. 동시에 사랑으로 인한 불안과 상처로부터 자신을 지키기 위해 사랑의 서사를 모색해야 한다. 《나의 해방일지》는 ‘해방’과 ‘추앙’의 서사를 중심으로 현대인들의 삶과 존재방식에 대해 성찰하고, 대안적인 삶과 새로운 존재방식을 탐색하는 헤테로토피아적 상상력을 제공한 다. 인간의 노동과 감정을 무한 착취하는 현대자본주의사회에서 고달픈 개인들이 추구하는 해방의 서사는 절망적인 디스토피아적인 상상력이나 무위의 세계로 도피하는 유토피아적 상 상력을 넘어 지금-여기에서 실현가능한 방안을 모색한다. 추앙의 서사는 사랑마저 상품화된 감정자본주의시대에 순수한 관계 회복을 통해 대체할 수 없는 사랑의 가능성을 추구한다. 또한, 가족주의로부터 자유로울 수 없는 한국사회에서 이 혼남과의 사랑의 서사를 통해 순수한 관계에 기반을 둔 사랑의 회복과 새로운 열린 가족의 의미를 찾아나서는 대안적 상상력을 제시한다.

In contemporary society, individuals assume responsibility for themselves and endeavor to crave an independent life through their autonomous decision-making. Simultaneously, they must seek a narrative of love to shield themselves from the anxieties and wounds inflicted by love. 《My Liberation Notes》delves into the narratives of ‘liberation (Haebang)’ and ‘worship(chuang)’, providing a heterotopian imagination that prompts contemplation on the lives and modes of existence of contemporary individuals, thereby reflecting on new ways of existence. In a contemporary capitalist society that infinitely exploits human labor and emotions, the narrative of ‘liberation’ pursued by struggling individuals transcends the hopeless dystopian imagination or the utopian imagination of escaping to a world of inaction, and seeking a tangible solution, here and now. The narrative of ‘worship’ explores the possibility of restoring pure relationship in an era of emotional capitalism where even love itself has been commodified. Moreover, within the backdrop of a Korean society that can not be free from familism, it presents an alternative imagination that navigates the restoration of authentic love and a new form of family through the narrative of love with a divorced man.
