- Abstract
- The perception of cyber education operators which include instructors, administrators, tutors, operators, contents developers was analyzed through the survey study from 203 people at the tertiary level institutes (regular universities and cyber universities). Survey items were developed by the systems model thus extracted from the three categories: input, process and output variables.Majority of faculty members uses web text based materials and prefer discussion and BBS (two way communication method). It requires further study whether plain web documents are as efficient as those fancy technology such as real time video and audio streaming or slightly less efficient. Contents quality control provokes delicate issues of what the cyber education means while majority wanted regulation for the contents quality control.Faculty members in the cyber education are not satisfied with it however they would like to pursue more cyber courses in the future. Manpower support for the contents development and management of the cyber courses is the most preferred incentives for instructors. Quality control for the cyber education is considered as the priority issue.
