Abstract
Several ureas and thioureas were designed and synthesized and their inhibitory activities of NO production in lipopolysaccharide-activated macrophages were evaluated. Among these compounds, indole-containing thiourea 6e was the most potent showing 17.4 μM of IC50 value.
