미시마 유키오 자결의 영화적 표상과 그 현재성- 와카마츠 고지(若松孝二) 『1125 자결의 날(1125 自決の日)』과 헌법개정 -

Abstract

와카마츠 감독은 『실록 연합적군』 후에 『11･25 자결의 날』을 제작한다. 그는 『11･25 자결의 날』에 대해 말하며, 1960년대에는 자신의 목숨을 걸고 국가권력에 저항하는 젊은이들의 열정과 순수함이 있었으나 지금은 존재하지 않는다고 주장하는데, 이 발언은 일본의 자위대와 헌법개정을 둘러싼 정치지형과 밀접한 관련이 있다. 와카마츠 감독은 1960년대를 실록의 형태로 그리면서 현재에 결여된 이와 같은 젊은이들의 열정과 순수함, 그리고 행동주의를 긍정적으로 그리고 있다. 그럼에도 불구하고, 현재 정치지형에서 볼 때, 미 제국주의를 추종하는 아베 정권에 대해 평화주의에 입각해서 행동하는 자유주의적 사회운동은 다시 나타났지만, 제국주의적 지배에 대해 본질적인 문제제기를 하며 이론을 행동으로 발전시켜가는 실천성은 결여되어 있는 것이 아닌가? 그리고 평화주의에 빠진 일본의 현재 젊은이들이 우경화된 주장을 하지만 적어도 그런 말을 하려면 미시마나 모리타처럼 시대와 정면으로 대치하며 자신의 목숨을 걸 ‘용기’를 가지고 있어야 하는 것은 아닌가 하는 문제제기를 볼 수 있다.

Wakamatsu, by depicting the 1960s in a documentary style, positively portrays the passion, innocence, and activism of youths that no longer exists today. Despite this, a question remains: According to Wakamatsu’s logic, if the anti-imperialist terrorism of the Palestine liberation movement is to be permitted, should the IS’s coordinated terrorist attacks on Paris, France be permitted, or should they be criticized?
