중국 문화 정책의 변화와 한중무용문화교류

Abstract

2017년 올해는 한중수교 25주년이 되는 해이다. 이에 본 연구는 개혁개방 이후부터 현재까지 추진되고 있는 중국공산당의 문화정책의 변화에 대해 살펴보고 이런 변화가 한중문화교류 특히 무용교류에 있어 어떻게 작동하고 있는지, 그리고 향후 어떤 방향으로 발전되어 갈 것인지에 대해 살펴보는 것에 목적이 있다. 연구결과 국가권력에 의해 작동되는 중국의 문화정책은 사회주의 문화를 건설하려는 기치아래 문화발전 계획 지도방침을 공표하였고, 2000년대 이후 ‘공자학원’의 설립과 보급을 통해 국가 이미지와 소프트파워를 강화시켰다. 특히 2008년 베이징 올림픽 이후 문화강국 건설을 위해 외래문화 유입 정책을 개방하면서 대외문화교류를 확대하였다. 이에 따라 무용분야에서도 2000년 이후 민간단체를 중심으로 한중무용문화 교류가 활발하게 진행되었고, 특히 지방예술단체들 간의 교류가 활발해졌다. 그러나 중국 공연단체의 한국 공연보다 한국 공연단체의 중국 공연이 더욱 활발하게 진행되고 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 따라서 양국의 우수한 인간문화재 중심의 공연과 전통문화특색을 담은 대형 무용극 공연, 주요 무용단체들의 정기적인 상호 방문공연을 통한 교류를 통해 한중무용문화의 교류가 활발해 질 수 있을 것으로 전망하였다.

The current year of 2017 marks the 25th anniversary of Korea-China diplomatic relations. This study thus aims to examine the changes in the cultural policy of the Chinese Communist Party, which has been promoted since the reform and opening up to the present in China, and to explore how such changes are affecting the exchanges of Korean and Chinese cultures, especially in the area of dance, and in what direction they would further develop in the future. From the study, it was made known that China's cultural policy which was initiated by the state power was announced as part of the guideline for cultural development plan under the banner of building a socialist culture. The Chinese national image and soft power could be strengthened thanks to establishment of 'Confucius Institutes' and dissemination of Chinese culture through them since the 2000s. After the Beijing Olympics in 2008, particularly, Chinese cultural exchanges with foreign countries have been expanded by open foreign cultural inflow policy in a scheme to build a cultural powerhouse. As a result, cultural exchanges between Korea and China in the field of dance have been actively.
