직업교육연구 학술지의 저술특성과 저자의 연구 생산성 분석

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 직업교육 분야의 대표 연구 학술지인 직업교육연구에 게재된 논문들을 중심으로 저술의 특성과 저자의 연구 생산성을 분석하여 제시하는 것이다. 특히, 저술의 방식이나 추이를 파악하기 위해 내용 분석을 실시하였고, 저자의 연구 생산성을 파악하기 위해 Lotka 법칙을 적용하여 분석하였다. 분석대상으로 1982년부터 2019년까지 직업교육연구 학술지에 게재된 990편의 논문을 분석하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 분석 기간을 설정하여 게재된 논문들의 저술특성을 분석한 결과, 전체 게재 논문 중 620편 이상이 공동저술 결과물이었다. 둘째, 직업교육연구 학술지에 게재된 논문들의 저술형태는 주로 단독저술 혹은 2인 이상 저술의 비율이 매우 높은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 저자들의 소속기관은 대학교, 연구소, 초중등교육기관 순으로 나타나서, 저술이 주로 연구와 관련된 기관들을 중심으로 이루어지고 있었다. 넷째, 저자들의 저술 활동은 지속적이라기보다 단속적 종결형태의 저술 활동이 이루어지고 있었다. 다섯째, 저자들의 연구 생산성을 분석한 결과, Lotka법칙이 직업교육연구 학술지의 연구 생산성을 분석하는 데도 적합한 방법으로 입증되었고, 직업교육연구 학술지 논문들의 생산과 정보유통에 일정한 패턴과 규칙이 있다는 것을 파악하였다. 분석결과를 바탕으로, 향후 직업교육연구 학술지의 연구 생산성을 보다 효과적으로 높일 수 있는 방안들을 제안하였다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the publication style and authors’ research productivity by analyzing the articles published in the journal of vocation education and research. Especially, we did content analysis to analyze the style and trends of publication by using Lotka’s law. For the analysis, we collected the data from 1982 to 2019 and finally, 990 articles were selected. The results of the study was as follow. First, 620 published articles were written by two or more authors during the analysis period. Second, the authorship was belong to a few authors who were one or two authors more. Third, their institutions were university, research institute, and secondary school etc. Fourth, authors’ publication activity was not continuous, which means many of them have not publish their articles without seaming less. Fifth, based on the analysis of research productivity, Lotka’s law is adequate to analyze the research trends of journal of vocation education research. A few authors made much contributions in publishing the articles than those of many authors who published a few pieces of articles. For future research, we suggested the supports system and learning communities for proliferating the research activities and productivity in vocational education field.
