청소년의 자아존중감과 사회적 기술과의 관계에서 마음챙김주의 알아차림의 매개 효과

Abstract

청소년의 자아존중감이 사회적 기술에 미치는 영향과 마음챙김주의 알아차림을 매개하여 사회적 기술에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 분석하고자 하였다. 연구의 조사대상은 경기도 소재 중학생 271명을 대상으로 하였으며 구조모형으로 분석하였다. 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 청소년의 자아존중감은 사회적 기술에 정(+)적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 청소년의 마음챙김주의 알아차림은 사회적 기술에 정(+)적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며 이 과정에서 마음챙김주의 알아차림은 자아존중감과 사회적 기술의 관계를 부분매개 하는 것으로 나타났다. 연구결과를 바탕으로 청소년의 사회적 기술 증진을 위한 효율적이고 실천적 개입 방안에 대해 논의하였다. 덧붙여, 이 연구의 한계점으로는 일부 청소년들 대상으로 했기 때문에 모든 청소년들에게 일반화하기는 한계가 있다는 점과 청소년들의 사회적 기술에 영향을 미치는 요인이 내적 특성에만 제한되어 있음을 지적하였다.

The purpose of the study was to analyze how self-esteem of adolescents affects social skills by mediating the impact on social skills and mindful attention awareness. The study was conducted on 271 middle school students in Gyeonggi-do and analyzed by a structural model. The main results of the study are as follows. First, self-esteem of adolescents has a positive effect on social skills. Second, mindful attention awareness of adolescents has a positive effect on social skills. In this process, mindful attention awareness partially mediates the relationship between self-esteem and social skills. Based on the results of this study, we discussed effective and practical interventions for improving social skills of adolescents. In addition, the limitations of the study were that it was difficult to generalize to all adolescents as it was targeted at some adolescents and that the factors affecting social skills of adolescents were limited to internal characteristics only.
