청소년의 사회적 위축과 주관적 성적 인식의 관계에서 학교 적응의 매개효과: 성별의 조절된 매개효과를 중심으로

Abstract

본 연구는 인간의 발달 단계 중 청소년기에 겪을 수 있는 중요한 심리적 문제 중 하나인 사회적 위축이 학교적응을 매개로 주관적 성적 인식에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고, 추가적으로 성별의 조절된 매개효과를 검증하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 2018년 8월 한국청소년정책연구원에서 수행한 한국 아동·청소년 패널조사(Korean Children & Youth Panel Survey: KCYPS)를 사용하였고 그 중 초4패널 7차 년도(2016)자료 중 결측치를 제외한 1,671명의 자료를 활용하여 분석하였다. 분석은 연구대상의 일반적 특성을 확인하기 위해 빈도분석, 기술통계를 실시하였고, 연구모형을 검증하기 위해 SPSS PROCESS MACRO를 활용한 조절된 매개효과 분석을 적용하였다. 연구 분석의 결과, 첫째, 사회적 위축이 학교 적응을 매개로 주관적 성적인식에서 완전매개효과를 확인하였다. 둘째, 사회적 위축, 학교적응, 주관적 성적 인식의 각각의 관계에서는 성별의 조절효과를 발견하지는 못하였다. 셋째, 조절된 매개효과를 분석한 결과, 여학생의 경우 사회적 위축이 학교적응을 경유하여 주관적 성적에 미치는 간접효과가 더 컸고, 이는 통계적으로 유의하였다. 이를 바탕으로 본 연구는 청소년들의 학교적응, 주관적 성적 인식에 영향을 줄 수 있는 사회적 위축에 대한 논의, 그리고 성별에 따른 차별화된 개입의 필요성 등을 제언하였다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of social withdrawal, which is one of the most important psychological problems that can be experienced during adolescence, on subjective perception of grades through school adaptation, and to verify the mediated effects of gender additionally. This study used the Korean Children & Youth Panel Survey (KCYPS) conducted by the Korea Institute for Youth Policy and Research (KCYPS) in August 2018. Among them, the 7th year year(2016) of 1,671 people excluding the missing values ​​in the 4th grader’s panel, were analyzed. In order to verify the general characteristics of the study subjects, frequency analysis and descriptive statistics were conducted. In order to verify the research model, a controlled mediating effect analysis using SPSS PROCESS MACRO was applied. As a result of the research analysis, first, the social withdrawal confirmed the full mediation effect in subjective perception of grades through school adaptation. Second, the adjustment effect of gender was not found in each relationship of social withdrawal, school adaptation, and subjective perception of grades. Third, as a result of analyzing moderated mediation effect, the indirect effect which social withdrawal affect subjective perception of grades by way of school adaptation becomes stronger in female students, which is statistically significant. Based on this, this study suggested the adaptation of adolescents, discussion of social withdrawal that may affect subjective perception of grades, and the necessity of differentiated intervention according to gender.
