표현용 어휘집 사용과 쓰기의 상관 관계

Abstract

외국인 학습자의 쓰기 활동에 도움을 줄 수 있는 수준별 표현용 사전의 필요성을 제기하고자 중급 학습자를 대상으로 실험을 진행하였다. 이를 위해 중급 표현용 어휘집을 제작하여 5주 간의 실험이 끝난 후 기말 시험과 자유 작문의 긴 글 쓰기를 바탕으로 통사적 숙달도를 측정한 결과, 실험 집단이 통제 집단보다 유창성, 복잡성, 정확성에서 향상된 모습을 보였다. 이를 통해 수준별 표현용 사전이 중급 학습자의 쓰기 실력을 향상시킬 수 있는 가능성을 엿보았다.

The experiments were conducted for intermediate learners in order to raise the need for a level-by-level productive dictionary to help with writing activities by foreign learners. After five weeks of experimentation, the results of the final test and the long written essay of free writing showed that the experimental group showed better fluency, complexity, and accuracy than the control group. The results showed that the level-by-level productive dictionary dictionaries could improve the writing ability of intermediate learners.
