- Abstract
- This research intends to provide the basic data for the dance major student’s efficient and positive use of their practice time that is on increase. For this purpose, it examined the dance major student’s leadership and cohesiveness. It also studied their influence on the dance major student’s dance achievement. The subject of this study was dance major students of 4 universities in Seoul. Convenience sampling, which is a non-probability sampling, was used. Among a total of 360 questionnaires distributed, 344 copies were collected back. The questionnaires that were insincerely replied, double-replied or judged useless for the study were excluded. Total 328 questionnaires were analyzed. The research results are as follows: First, the result of examining was that the leadership influenced the cohesiveness partly. Second, the leadership partly influenced dance achievement. Third, the cohesiveness influenced dance achievement. Therefore, the leader of the dance major students should understand the type of leadership that positively affects students’ dance activities. He should try to increase cohesion in works & performances and raise their sense of accomplishment with best efforts.
