- Abstract
- The purpose of the study was to present the experimental data of sports psychology to investigate and analyze the relationship between competitive anxiety and body composition in golf players. This study surveyed sixty four people J golf majors university by the purposive sampling and was measured by CSAI-2 questionnaire(somatic anxiety, mental self confidence, nervous anxiety, somatic self confidence) and the X-contact357 body composition(Height, Weight, BMI, PBF, LBM, TBW). Simple Linear Regression of SPSS 20.0 used for statistics data analysis. Therefore, somatic anxiety was a causal relationship with body mass index(p<.05) and nervous anxiety was a causal relationship with percent body fat and body mass index(p<.05). In conclusion, research on the relationship between competitive anxiety and body composition in golf players were causal relationship between somatic anxiety and body mass index appeared to negative. Nervous anxiety and percent body fat, body mass index showed that formed negative casual relationship.
