- Abstract
- In recent years, the safety of cosmetics is increasingly stressed due to various kinds of skin diseases caused by environmental pollution, and there are smarter consumers than in the past who carefully check ingredients when they buy cosmetics. Therefore different kinds of environment-friendly organic cosmetics are produced, and the organic cosmetic market has steadily been expanded. Yet lots of consumers aren't well aware of organic cosmetics, being thrown into confusion. It's been four years since the guidelines of organic cosmetic advertisement and labelling were presented, and the purpose of this study was to examine the awareness of consumers on organic cosmetics and their use before the enforcement of the regulations of standard organic cosmetics in June, 2015, in an effort to lay the groundwork for the sustained development of the domestic organic cosmetic market.
There will be a bright future for the domestic organic cosmetic market if the findings of the study are taken into consideration for the development of outstanding products and successful marketing strategies.
