- Abstract
- This study intends to make a clear conceptual definition of perceptual-motor development by examining previous studies on aforementioned subject. And the study focuses on taking related theories and components into a close consideration, based on understanding the importance and necessity of perceptual-motor development program. Ultimately, this study intends to provide basic data or information for developing follow-up infant growth and development program As a result of considering and examining previous studies for these purposes, we can come to the following conclusions:First, perceptual-motor mean voluntary movement depending on the type of cognition for different informations. Second, it is found that the perceptual-motor development program we can meet during our infancy leads balanced physical growth and has considerable effects on enhancing our intelligent capability. Thirdly, it is also found that the availability of perceptual-motor development program is in the highest priority, so as to implement favorable physical growth and development and improve daily living capability along with learning achievement in some proper level during infancy.
In conclusion, the infant experiences in perceptual-motor has more or less critical influences on their preparation for next learning level and the enhancement in their intelligent capability.
That is why we should develop systematic and scientific perceptual-motor development programs by considering different modifying factors through follow-up studies, so as to allow instructors to provide some effective programs available for infant growth and development, who have specialized in infant education through technical training from related organizations
