Abstract
A recent rise in women’s job life and outdoor activity is leading to the long-term exposure to ultraviolet radiation. Due to this, there has been great influence even upon the aesthetic aspect as well as upon the skin health. And, a swell in stress caused by environmental contamination and busy modern life brings about oxygen free radical, thereby becoming a cause for aging and pigmentation. The research results can be summarized as follows. The awareness level in survey respondents on skin whitening was affirmative. Also, most women was awareness that white skin skin is strong in genetic factor. but about half of women was awareness that using sunscreen and whitening cosmetic leads to becoming white skin and as a result of surveying the actual condition of using the UV blocking agents, most women are using UV blocking agent at ordinary times. And, women with whitening care were using UV blocking agent at ordinary times more than women in the opposite case and as a result of surveying the behavior and satisfaction with skin-whitening care, women with whitening care more than women in the opposite case and as a result of surveying the use behavior and satisfaction at skin whitening products, women, who are using whitening cosmetics, were indicated to be larger than women in the opposite case. As a result of surveying the intention of buying the whitening cosmetics in the future, most women will be continuing to use whitening cosmetics. Even as for the intention of further using the whitening cosmetics in non-users of whitening cosmetics, women might be using whitening cosmetics.
