사회적 자본과 행복의 관계에 대한 연구: 긍정적 자아관을 매개로

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 사회적 자본이 긍정적 자아관을 매개로 하여 행복에 영향을 주고 있음을 밝히는 데 있다. 이를 위해 한국직업능력개발원이 제공하는 한국교육고용패널 조사 데이터(KEEP: Korean Education and Employment Panel) 2014년도 자료를 활용하였고, 매개효과검증을 위해 구조 방정식(SEM: Structural Equation Model)을 적용했으며 총 5,663명(남: 3,422, 여: 2,241)의 데이터가 활용 되었다. 본 연구에서는 사회적 자본을 구성하는 요소들로 ‘참여’, ‘일반 사람에 대한 신뢰’, ‘여러 집단에 대한 신뢰’, ‘주변 환경에 대한 안전성 인식’으로 보았다. 분석 결과, 사회적 자본은 행복과 긍정적 자아관에 모두 직접 효과를 보였으며, 긍정적 자아관이 사회적 자본과 행복의 관계를 부분적으로 매개하고 있음이 밝혀졌다. 본 연구를 기반으로 한 시사점과 향후 새로운 연구 주제에 대해서도 기술하였다.

The purpose of this study is to demonstrate that social capital influences individual happiness mediated by positive self-concept. To do this, we use KEEP(Korean Education and Employment Panel) data which was provided by KRIVET(Korea Research Institute for Vocational Education & Training) in 2014 and utilized SEM(Structural Equation Model) to prove the mediation effect. In this paper, social capital is composed of participation, trust on generalized people, trust on various groups, and feeling safety. The analalysis result shows that social capital has direct effects on both positive self-concept and individual happiness. Positive self-concept partially mediated the relationship between social capital and individual happiness. Based on the result, we discuss implications and future research idea.
