K기업의 재고관리전략에 관한 탐색적 연구: 확장된 BSC(Balanced Score Card)관점을 중심으로

Abstract

The inventory of K company has a trait that must have spared maintenance products for safety of a rail. The asset which made of the spared maintenance products plays an important role because a list of the maintenance products and quantity of the inventory have very close relation with the safety of operation of a train. However, K company had a very highly debt-ridden structure in 2013, even an interest of the debt had been paid equivalent to 1.3 billion Won a day; thus, the financial structure had been very weaken with quantity of 314.5 billion won valued inventory. For this reason, it was a crucial situation that must reduce the cost of the inventory-maintenance by maintaining proper level of the inventory. In the face of crisis, K company have made an effort to establish the strategy in oder to reduce the cost of the inventory-maintenance and worked hard to achieve goal. This study suggests direction for future by understanding the importance of revision of the strategy along with an analysis of accomplishment in an aspect of BSC in addition to reviewing an implement-task on the course of the inventory-maintenance strategy.
