청소년이 지각한 모의 심리적 통제와 주관적 안녕감의 관계에서 자기결정성 학습동기의 매개효과

Abstract

본 연구에서는 청소년이 지각한 모의 심리적 통제와 주관적 안녕감의 관계에서 자기결정성 학습동기 하위요인의 매개효과를 규명하였다. 이를 위해 경기도의 중학생 328명을 대상으로 모의 심리적 통제, 자기결정성 학습동기, 주관적 안녕감에 대한 설문조사를 실시하였다. 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 변인간의 상관관계를 분석한 결과, 모의 심리적 통제는 주관적 안녕감과 부적 상관이 나타났고, 외적, 부과된 조절과 정적 상관이 나타났고, 확인/통합된, 내적 조절과 부적 상관이 나타났다. 또한 외적, 부과된 조절은 주관적 안녕감과 부적 상관이 나타났고, 확인/통합된, 내적 조절은 주관적 안녕감과 정적 상관이 나타났다. 둘째, 모의 심리적 통제와 주관적 안녕감의 관계에서 자기결정성 학습동기 각 하위요인의 매개효과를 검증한 결과, 모의 심리적 통제는 각각 외적, 부과된, 확인/통합된, 내적 조절을 유의하게 설명하는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같이 본 연구에서는 청소년의 주관적 안녕감에 영향을 미치는 모의 심리적 통제와 자기결정성 학습동기의 중요함을 확인하였다는데 의의가 있고, 모의 심리적 통제와 청소년의 주관적 안녕감의 관계에서 외적, 부과된, 확인/통합된, 내적 조절의 매개효과를 규명하여 자기결정성 학습동기의 중요성을 시사한다. 마지막으로 연구의 제한점 및 후속 연구를 위한 제언을 논의하였다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effects of self-determined motivation for learning on the relationship between mothers’ psychological control and subjective well-being. The study surveyed a total of 328 middle schools students. The results are as follows. Firstly, when a correlation analysis was conducted to elucidate any connections among the major variables, mother’s psychological control was negatively correlated with subjective well-being. In addition mother’s psychological control was positively correlated with external, introjected regulation. Moreover mother’s psychological control was negatively correlated with identified/integrated, intrinsic regulation. It was further revealed that external and introjected regulation was negatively correlated with subjective well-being. Additionally, identified/Integrated and intrinsic regulation was positively correlated with subjective well-being. Secondly, self-determined motivation for learning had a partial mediating effect on the relationship between mothers’ psychological control and the subjective well-being of the adolescents studied. In conclusion this study verified a number of maternal psychological control which impact upon the external, introjected, identified/integrated and intrinsic regulation of adolescents, thus leading to subjective well-being.
