- Abstract
- This paper is to study about a cultural semiotic study about androgyny of female myths, focusing on a modern cultural meaning in <Jachungbi> <Gamunjangagi> <Baekjuto>. This paper is seeking for the meaning of the love. There are three kinds of the love: the love of sweetheart, the love of parents, and the love of husband and wife. The woman shows the androgyny.
Yhe first, <Jachungbi> of the <Sekyungbonpuli> is a cultural semiosis to connect the love and farming. <Jachungbi> is not a negative woman, but a positive woman. She expresses the feeling for the sweetheart, changes the action, and endure the pains. The second,<Gamunjangagi> of the ,Samgongbonpuli> has a special respect and love for her parents. She is an independent woman from her parents and fate. She was expelled from her answer by her parents, but she did not bear a grudge against a parent. She developed her life.
The third, <Baekjuto> of the <Songdangbonpuli> represents the relationship of husband and wife. <Baekjuto> is very special woman.
She is a symbol of the farming, whereas her husband <Sochonguk> is a symbol of hunting. Their marriage cannot be smooth and safe. They are fighting with each other severely to get the force. She suggested their parting with them. She is also an androgyny to develop her life.
The meaning of three woman tells the cultural androgyny. The Modern Alpha Girl discourse is not a new concept, but has a deep root in 역folk tales and myths. Therefore, Androgyny is a our archetypal imagination.
