- Abstract
- 본 연구의 목적은 한국, 미국, 호주의 문헌정보학 교육에 대한 변화를 비교·분석하고 북미 대학교 문헌정보학과를 중심으로 시작되어 현재 전 세계 33개 대학으로 확산된 iSchool(Information School) 운동의 사례 분석을 통해 문헌정보학 교육의 주요 현안 및 과제 그리고 미래의 발전 방안을 도출하는데 있다. 이를 위해 첫째, 국내외 문헌정보학 교육에 관한 선행연구를 비교분석함으로써 문헌정보학 교육의 변화 및 본질 그리고 연구 동향을 조사하였다. 둘째, 한국, 미국 및 호주 대학교 문헌정보학 교육과정의 현황을 조사하고 국가 간 교육과정의 실태를 비교·분석하였다. 셋째, 현재 전 세계 대학으로 확산되고 있는 iSchool 사례를 조사함으로써 문헌정보학 교육의 미래와 향후 연구 과제를 도출하고자 하였다.
