록큰롤 음악 청취와 청소년의 내재된 스트레스와의 관련성 연구

Abstract

이 연구는 청소년들이 큰 소리로 록큰롤 음악을 듣는 것이 내면의 스트레스와 관련이 있는가를 알아보기 위한 것이었다. 남, 여 고등학생 93명을 대상으로 그들이 지각하는 스트레스와 청취하는 록큰롤 음악의 음향의 세기를 조사하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 청소년들은 학업에 대한 스트레스를 가장 많이 받고 있으며 성별에 따른 통계적인 차이는 없었지만 여학생이 남학생 보다 전체 스트레스 수준이 높았다. 또한 높은 수준의 스트레스 집단과 낮은 수준의 집단 사이에 청취하는 음향의 세기는 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 그리고 지각하는 스트레스와 청취하는 음향의 세기 사이에는 중간정도의 상관관계가 있었으며 성별에 따라서는 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 없었다.

The purpose of this research was to elucidate the relationship between the amount of one's perceived stress and the loudness level of Rock and Roll music. A total of 93 highschool students listened to selected samples of Rock music and were asked to adjust the volume as they wished to a level of pleasurable tolerance. Results found a significant difference in the loudness level between highly stressed and relatively lower stressed persons. A moderated correlation was also found between the participants' perceived stress and the loudness level of music. Gender was not found to be a significant variable in the association between loudness and perceived stres
