- Abstract
- Sport tourism events become more popular across countries. The purpose of this study is to examine the relationships among involvement in cycling, satisfaction in a cycling tourism event, and participation intention in the cycling tourism event as one of sport tourism events. Data were collected from 934 participants in the event and a total response rate was 35%. Data were analyzed by measurement and simultaneous equation model, using PRELIS and LISREL. The results show that involvement in cycling significantly influences satisfaction with the cycling tourism event, and satisfaction with the cycling tourism event has a significant effect on participation intention in the cycling tourism event again. However, involvement with cycling does not significantly influence participation intention in the cycling tourism event. More discussions are presented in this paper.
