- Abstract
- <The Peaceful World> uses a unique technique in narrating characters. The characters described in this novel looks as like a Mise-en-scene in film. In this article, the technique of representing characters is studied through narrative ludism and character mise-en-scene. The First, the negative character is narrated by a counter-value and the mise-en-scene of a character. The second, the narrative of Pansori is used to focus on the satire of a character. The third, the linguistic carnivalism is used to reveal the mise-en-scene of character's negative personality. The three methods of showing mise-en-scene can be understood as a harmonious montage. The narrative style like this mies-en-scene can be said with 1930s' narrative. Yi Sang and Bak Tae Won has been studied with filmic writing skill. These writers of 1930s can be dealt with Japanese Film of 1930s.
